Technical aspects of KN95| KENJOY
Now in our daily life, we have to wear a mask wherever we go, but we probably don't know much about KN95 masks. Today, mask suppliers introduce us to the basic knowledge of KN95 masks.
Standard source
KN95 is a Chinese standard mask, which is a kind of mask with particulate matter filtering efficiency in our country. KN95 masks and N95 masks are actually the same in terms of particle filtration efficiency.
KN95 is a Chinese standard mask, which comes from the Chinese national standard GB 2626-2019 "Respiratory Protective equipment self-priming filter Anti-particulate respirator". This standard is a compulsory national standard in China, put forward by the State Administration of work Safety and under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for the Standardization of individual Protective equipment (SAC/TC 112).
Technical level
From the point of view of the scope of application, this standard is applicable to ordinary self-priming and filtration respiratory protective equipment to protect all kinds of particulates, such as masks, other special environments (such as anoxic environment, underwater operation, etc.) are not applicable.
From the definition of particulate matter, this standard defines the various forms of particulate matter, including dust, smoke, fog and microorganisms, but does not define the size of particulate matter.
According to the filter element level, it can be divided into two categories: filter non-oily particulate matter KN and filter oily and non-oily particulate matter KP, and use this as a mark, which is similar to the N and R _ hand P specified in the interpretation guidelines of CFR 42-84-1995.
Matters needing attention
It is worth noting that GB 2626-2006 "Respiratory Protective equipment self-inhaling filter Anti-particulate respirator" is about to be invalidated, replacing its new version of GB 2626-2019 "Respiratory Protection self-priming filter Anti-particulate respirator", which has been issued to the whole society by the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration on December 31, 2019, and will be formally implemented on July 1, 2020. The new standard is put forward and put forward by the Emergency Management Department.
At present, the text of the new standard has been published and made available to the whole society free of charge as a mandatory standard. The new standard complements seven terms such as "aerodynamic particle size" and modifies some technical requirements and testing methods, but does not modify the classification, marking and filtration efficiency listed in this paper.
N95 is an American standard
N95 mask is one of 9 kinds of particulate protective masks certified by NIOSH (National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health). N95 is not a specific product name, as long as it meets the N95 standard and the product that has passed the NIOSH review can be called the N95 mask, which can filter particles with an aerodynamic diameter of 0.075 μ m ±0.020 μ m with a filtration efficiency of more than 95%.
The above is the technical introduction of KN95. We need to know more about FFP2 masks. Please feel free to contact our mask factory for advice.
